The project showcases innovative use of engineered timber for Gothenburg’s new central bath, inspired by AI-generated images. It features two distinct sections: the left for the competition area and the right for the leisure zone. This separation reduces the building’s mass, creating a more human-scale design, with each space functioning independently. The leisure area includes family pools and teaching pools, defined by branched pillars and skylights. The modern competition area consists of a competition pool, a jumping pool with platforms at various heights, and a practice pool located below the entrance area. Both sections are connected by an elevated passage, accessible via ramps, allowing people to walk along the building and through the passage without blocking the entrance.
