Potoční Place

At the intersection of Československé armády Street and Potoční Street in Hostivice, there is a small corner with a linden tree. However, there is also a remnant of one of the former branches of the junction, concrete rings, patched asphalt, and a strip of grass that is difficult to maintain. The Potoční Place proposal seeks to improve this space: the green area will be expanded and appropriately planted, and the road will be raised to the level of new, wider sidewalks. The place will be complemented with new urban furniture, and a drinking fountain will be connected to the existing well, designed to echo the shape of a previously removed fire hydrant. These changes will help calm traffic not only at Potoční Place, but also along the adjoining one-way street.
