Annotation
The Písek exhibition grounds today fail to form a worthy counterpart to the historic centre on the opposite bank of the Otava River. Our proposal transforms the area from a fragmented structure into a residential urban district that naturally connects the city with nature. A key element is the reintegration of the Mehelnický Stream into urban life and the creation of shared streets and open ground floors, where pedestrians, cyclists and cars move side by side.
