CLOSING IN

This design presents a potential vision for a vertical park situated in the city of Prague, imagined a few years into the future. Located at the green center of an open site roundabout leading to an underground tunnel, it marks a central point around which cars circulate downward. It acts as a connective knot between Stromovka Park and Letenská Plain, forming a green corridor along the existing railway line, that further continues over a possible newly proposed green bridge above M. Horákové Street and then extending all the way to the Prague Metronome viewpoint. The park consists of both above-ground and underground vertical layers, connected to an underground water reservoir. The monumental landscape design echoes the bastion walls of Prague Castle, bridging the old and new principles.
