Žižkov – dense, working-class, full of contrasts. The plot acts as a barrier, extending the cemetery wall. To the east is the foreign police, to the west a small church, to the north a postmodern boulevard. I drew context from St. Roch. The police are like a neighbor you don’t visit. My design creates interesting spaces without block structures. Large walls continue the cemetery theme. The street-facing building has a central gap, a wavy façade, and a tower by the church. Toward the cemetery, the layout loosens – gallery-access houses, a community center, and a path to a linear park. The apartments are big, for people, not developers. Each has a sunny balcony – you could even sleep there in summer.
