Emptiness Full of Emotion

The project focuses on Bílá Hora – a place of deep historical and spiritual significance, which today feels almost forgotten. The site of the pivotal 1620 battle in Czech history now lacks a clear identity, continuity, information, and care. I approach the design of the Bílá Hora area with the respect such a place undoubtedly demands. At the same time, I sense that people often tend to avoid proposing new solutions for spaces like this out of fear, leaving them outdated or entirely neglected. That is precisely why I see this challenge as particularly important – I believe that even places burdened by history and imbued with spiritual depth can be revived through a sensitive and contemporary approach.
