Family house in Zádveřice

A family home for a young couple who plan to settle down and start a family. The partners own a plot in the village Zadveřice-Raková in the locality of Nadkopčí. The building program of the house is demanding and the budget of the house is very limited. Sustainability is also an important issue. The house should be operationally economical and friendly to the place - a village on the edge of Wallachia. Aesthetically, the design is based on local vernacular buildings, but brings a contemporary architectural approach. The house consists of two superimposed masses - the lower brick one contains bedrooms, the upper one made of solid CLT panels with a facade clad with wooden slats contains the main living rooms as well as the house facilities.
