The project introduces a new approach to mobility and tourism in the Liwa region through a system of smart infrastructure. At its core are E-Hubs - modular terminals connected to the city by autonomous hydrogen powered shuttles called E-Links. Each E-Hub can dock up to 12 shuttles and includes a rooftop platform for two ED-X drones. These drones function as flying transport units that carry visitors into the desert. Once deployed, they form small, temporary colonies, creating a flexible and self-sufficient urban network. The system supports decentralised access, low-impact travel, and controlled growth in remote areas.
