Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

What happens if you shrink Středokluky a hundred times? You create a landscape object where the street network turns into a structure made of wooden beams of different sizes. Object stands exactly in the cadastral centre of the village and translates its layout to a scale of 1 : 100. The network of oak beams spread out on a birch paling replicates the real streets, on which you will find representations of real places and streets. You can sit down, take a walk, find your street or discover a part of the village that you didn't really know. The centre is a playground, an amphitheatre, a sculpture and a resting place all in one. It combines map with landscape, abstraction with reality, movement with exploration. And it's up to you what you find in it.
