Two worlds

The site is located in the heart of the heritage zone of Blatná, near the historic center and castle park. This implementation project develops a key public space that forms part of a broader urban study from the winter semester 2024/25. The space is divided into several zones: the forecourt of the town hall and sports hall, a multifunctional area by the sports hall and bowling alley, an open-air amphitheater, and a connection to the adjacent park. The material design follows the town’s existing palette, using mainly granite paving in three formats. Roses, symbolic for Blatná, are an important feature of the proposal.
