Home for the elderly & student dormitories Žižkov

In Žižkov, in a place that is constantly changing, a house is being built that brings seniors and students under one roof. The project responds to the current challenges of urban life – the need for affordable housing, intergenerational solidarity and a greater emphasis on community. The design is based on the idea of ​​natural coexistence of two different generations. Shared spaces in the middle of the house, social rooms and a residential roof create conditions for meetings and peace. The house by the former freight station thus becomes a new point of connection – a place where a common home is created across the ages.
