This project transforms the Former Mayrau Coal Mine in the Czech Republic into a contemporary art gallery dedicated to sculpture. It includes exhibition spaces and a private residential area for visiting artists. The gallery’s concept focuses on dynamism, achieved through permeable and flexible spaces. A key feature is a crane system, allowing sculptures to be moved, relocated, or displayed outdoors. This creates a constantly evolving exhibition environment, adapting to the needs of both the space and the artists. By reviving an industrial heritage site with a focus on movement and transformation, the project offers a unique platform for artistic expression and interaction.
