As societies face demographic shifts and aging populations, the way we design homes for seniors must evolve. This project explores the transformation of an existing building into an intimate, family-style home that fosters intergenerational connections. By integrating younger generations we create a dynamic and supportive atmosphere that benefits all age groups while keeping the primary focus on senior care. The building presents a unique opportunity to serve as a communal heart that encourages interaction, well-being, and a sense of belonging. This redesign aims to balance privacy with togetherness, individual needs with collective care, and tradition with innovation, redefining what home means in an aging society. All in the sense of CareGIVING & CareTAKING.
