Annotation
I propose an apartment building with a section designated for a social prevention service - the Halfway House. Due to the lack of individualisation and contact with the mainstream environment, alternatives for children and young people such as foster families or halfway houses are increasingly being sought today. The proposed block for the DPC is spread over 5 floors and is located in the middle of the mass between ordinary flats, with a total capacity for 12 juveniles with social facilities at ground floor. The overall mass responds to the now eroded block, enhances the dignity of the corner, forms a noise barrier from the street and train tracks and has a quiet courtyard with plenty of vegetation in the middle.
