Student Hall Palazzo

There is a shortage of student housing. This is the current reality across Prague, especially near the Albertov campus. The design was created in response to this need, which I perceive not only among Czech students but increasingly among international students as well. The typical idea of student life is often disrupted by the insecurity of expensive subletting with strangers. That’s why — a student residence. With its massing, the building closes off the courtyard, which was originally “cut open” at the beginning of the 20th century due to the tram line.
