Pylon Kunsthalle

Annotation

The Pylon Kunsthalle in Florence is a distinctive urban solitaire that enriches the locality with its modern and subtle form. Its mass rises above the glass ground floor, at the heart of which pulsates life in the form of an open café, connecting the inner and outer worlds. A characteristic element of the architectural design is the articulated roof with pyramidal skylights, which bring natural light into the upper floors of the gallery and create a unique atmosphere for the works on display. The outdoor forecourt of the Kunsthalle is transformed into a dynamic open-air sculpture gallery, inviting you to stop and engage in artistic dialogue. Overall, the Kunsthalle embodies the modern concept of a gallery that opens up to the city and its inhabitants, becoming a new cultural focal point.
