Annotation
The city marketplace has long ceased to serve solely as a place for selling fresh food and local products. Today, it has transformed into a lively and dynamic multifunctional space that connects community life, cultural events, and entrepreneurship.
My market design is situated on a site currently occupied by advertising banners, old single-story garages, and storage units that, unfortunately, are no longer in use. My main aim was to understand how to turn this visual noise into a pleasant and as universally usable space as possible for the public.
The shape of the building is based on the outlines of the existing structures on the site. The ground floor is a covered, walk-through area that can be opened or closed as needed. The second floor is designed as an open terrace with a basketba
