Museum in the Prague Park Fortification Belt

The boundary between Nové Město and Karlín is marked by a physical barrier in the form of a highway. The former city wall zone is alive, but only with the presence of fast-moving cars. This area needs to be revitalized — transforming parking lots and roads into an urban environment with an active social life. The new museum building stands directly opposite the existing Prague City Museum. There are no physical barriers between them, so they reinforce and complement each other. The museum's grandeur and significance are supported by a clear concept consisting of two cubes, one of which forms the inner core of the exhibition space (the black cube).
