CITY WALL ZONE - KUNSTHALLE

We are situated in the area of the former city walls, streching from Hlávkův Bridge to the Bulhar intersection. In our proposal, we are removing the expressway that currently acts as a barrier between the Old Town and Karlín. Today, this area has a peripheral character and untapped potential. Therefore, we propose replacing the road artery with a boulevard aligned along the path of the underground metro. The goal is to reconnect the city and create a dignified space featuring public buildings. At the heart of this transformation, I design the Prague Kunsthalle. Its concept aims to establish extensive exhibition spaces and to awaken public interest in art. This is achieved through a 2,000 m² exhibition area, divided into two halls and an outdoor exhibition attracting attetion from outside.
