Bones and boxes

As part of the current restoration project of Plasy Monastery, the project proposes the revitalization of the former stable transforming the building into a multifunctional space combining workshops, recreational areas, and accommodation. This solves the lack of accommodation that the region suffers while promoting the restoration practice as a way of revitalizing the physical and social network of the region. The intervention embraces a low-impact approach, prioritizing the preservation of the building’s original character by using the original wooden structure as an skeleton that organizes de infills added.
