The project is located in the pasture hills of Deštné v Orlické hory, where a sheepfold and glassworks once stood. It revives the spirit of this abandoned place and restores farming to the landscape.
Situated at the crossroads of country paths, the farm includes a sheepfold with a dairy and cheese factory, a family house, a multipurpose hall with a dormitory, and “hay houses” scattered across the pastures.
The design follows functional relationships and respects the natural terrain. It aims to create a safe space for both sheep and people seeking a return to land, tradition, and rural quiet.
