I undertook the remake of an old wardrobe that had ceased to serve its function – one that does not age with patina, but instead deteriorates, both physically and mentally. A storage space where things no longer have their designated place. I examined what it means to store. What I need to store – and where. In a comfortable way. I disassembled the wardrobe to its most basic form and retained its structural core. I designed new doors and internal divisions, thus transforming it into a new object. Subsequently, I sanded, painted, cut, and drilled – allowing the wardrobe to truly take shape.
