Annotation

It carries a deep history, and its significance is undeniable — yet all its fame seems to fade beneath Vyšehrad, where it flows into the Vltava. Compared to the mighty river, however, it offers a much clearer reflection of times gone by and it is the Botič that the people of the surrounding neighbourhoods can thank for a touch of nature — forming a vivid green corridor on the right bank of the Vltava. And this is where our journey begins. More precisely, on the Podolí hill, from where you can walk upstream along the Botič all the way to the edge of Prague, to the Průhonice Park. The Botič is being given a chance to come alive again — accompanied through the city by a cycling path that brings fresh energy, that the stream has lost over the past decades.
