INTERGENERATIONAL PROJECT INTEGRATING HERITAGE HOUSING, CHILDCARE, AND SENIOR LIVING In a Nové Město courtyard, a new community hub is taking shape on the site of a decaying infill. It brings together senior housing and a childcare group, aiming to revitalize the neglected space behind a historic gallery-access building and restore its social function as a shared space. The design promotes intergenerational interaction through shared spaces that naturally encourage dialogue and coexistence, enriching both groups and strengthening community ties, while allowing for separate needs of both groups. Part of the original structure will house a small café, while a new linear infills replace a demolished warehouse, thoughtfully complementing the existing palette of architecture present.
