POWER TOWER is a concept that reimagines the Strahov tunnel ventilation tower as a vertical structure for food production. In a future where Earth’s soil may no longer be suitable for traditional agriculture, and personal vehicles become obsolete, urban infrastructure can be repurposed to meet humanity’s basic needs. The tower would serve as a hub for crop cultivation using advanced irrigation systems and water reservoirs, while the tunnel itself could be transformed into underground farming fields. This project explores sustainable, space-efficient food systems and offers a glimpse into how we might adapt our cities to the environmental and technological challenges of the future.
