NEW SPARTA

The theme of the project is the design of a large-capacity stadium for the AC Sparta Prague team on the existing land on Letná Street. The urban concept is based on the premise that even a large-scale sports building can be sensitively integrated into the urban environment. The design consciously works with the contrast in scale between the stadium and the surrounding block of buildings - shaping its form to respect existing lines and create connections with the urban fabric. The aim was to create a stadium with an urban expression that responds naturally to the character of Letná.
