The Boundaries of a Child’s Psychological Comfort in the Environment of a Pediatric Ward

Annotation
As part of an elective studio course, I conducted a detailed analysis of pediatric departments. The aim of the project was to respond to the current situation with socially responsible design that would humanize the department, make the hospital stay more pleasant for young patients, reduce stress, assist in pain management, and help prevent the development of hospitalism syndrome. Following a series of consultations with experts and an in-depth exploration of the topic, the initially defined goals were refined into specific issues and concepts that could be addressed through design interventions.
