Prison cell for mother and child

The design of the prison cell was created in collaboration with the Tesař studio, which designed prisons. I was designing a cell for a women's prison. The block intended for mothers with children has a low level of security and is separated from other women. I tried to design the cell sensitively so that the mother had room for a new beginning and the child's soul was not affected by being in prison. The equipment of the cell respects prison regulations and the requirements for ease of use of cells and durability. It must not be forgotten that even the cell is a space that must be easily and quickly controlled, therefore the cell is without unnecessary corners and the equipment is more open.
