The family support center

Annotation

The family support center in Všehrdova Street in Prague’s Malá Strana is designed as a functional and accessible place for the everyday life of urban families. It makes use of a building next to the Church of St. John the Baptist, now serving as a space for therapeutic activities, a ceramics workshop, and community gatherings. It is complemented by a new lightweight structure that provides playrooms for children of various ages and classrooms for courses, all with barrier-free access. The center offers facilities for leisure, educational, and support activities – from hobby clubs, day camps, and childcare to courses for adults. The goal is to create a safe and accessible environment that responds to the needs of today’s families.
