Highline Park at the Husitská and Trocnovská intersection bridges an 11-meter height gap between the street and Žižkov Highline. The architecture completes the city block, transforming a residual space into a link between the city’s industrial past and future. This polyfunctional hybrid offers two floors of offices and five levels of housing, including studios, maisonettes, and large flats. A key design feature is the gallery-access housing where circulation weaves through alternating maisonette levels. Materiality reflects these functions as a heavy brick base anchors the offices and lifts the white plaster residences to optimize sunlight and views. A green metal section inspired by the Hrábovka bridge completes the form, visually connecting the new building to existing surroundings.
