Between us

The shelter for young adults in Ďáblice housing estate responds to the need for a safe place for people who, after leaving a children's home or facing difficult life situations, are looking for stability and the opportunity to start an independent life. The aim of the project is to create an environment where young people do not feel like clients of social services, but like residents who can find a real home here. The house combines private rooms with shared spaces, promoting community, active leisure, and involvement in everyday city life. A publicly accessible sports field and coworking space open the house to the neighborhood and help break down barriers between residents and the local community. A semi-private courtyard between the houses is used for gardening, barbecuing and sports.
