Vitousek stream

The Vitoušek stream is the project name given to a unnamed minor watercourse flowing through the cadastral areas of Chýnice and Choteč. The project focuses on a conceptual design for the revitalization of this stream and the definition of its spatial requirements. The proposed measures include the retention ponds on land drainage systems to capture precipitation and agricultural sediment, biodiversity buffer strips established along the watercourse, grass-planting on land segments at high risk of water erosion,check dams in the erosion valley to slow runoff and stabilize the stream bed. A central component of the project is the restoration of the Vitoušek water body,whose long-term stability and functionality are directly dependent on the revitalization and ecological health of the stream.
