KOLÍN SPATIAL PLAN

The concept sees Kolín as the center of an industrial belt from Čáslav to Nymburk, while not limiting it only to an industrial role. The aim is to achive balanced city by balancing primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary employment sector, nature and urban, the southern and northern riverbanks through a system of three independent settlement groups with basic civic amenities in their centres. Thanks to the crossing of railway lines, Kolín functions as a regional transport hub and enables TOD.
