The residential project ELEVATED LIVING is located in Prague’s Žižkov district near Florenc, on a long, curved site bordering an approximately 11-metre-high terrain drop. The design consists of three elevated residential volumes set back from the retaining wall. A continuous public space is formed beneath the buildings, defined by the relationship between terrain, wall, and housing volumes. The ground level accommodates a café, a residents’ gym with a climbing wall, and a chapel with a community kindergarten. Public staircases between the volumes connect the two terrain levels, responding to the height difference and completing the pedestrian infrastructure.
