Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The building is conceived as a precisely defined structural framework that enables maximum operational flexibility. L1 is designed as an open gallery without any internal load-bearing elements. It's supported by 12 mass timber columns positioned along the perimeter. Through a system of rings, these columns transfer loads toward the center, creating an unobstructed view. Vertical circulation is placed in a tube outside the main volume, ensuring the galerry's spatial purity undisturbed. L2 has 11 units for artists. A skylight runs through this level, bringing natural light down into below, strengthening the visual and spatial connection between the floors. The circle is not merely a floor plan but a principle of operation - an uninterrupted cycle without a clear beginning or end.
