Annotation

The shelter is designed as an atrium building that aims to use the available site as efficiently as possible. The target groups are mothers with children, women who are victims of domestic violence, and families facing financial hardship. I chose these three groups because they represent people who find themselves on the margins of society—not through their own fault, but as a result of systemic inequalities and a lack of support. Architecture cannot eliminate this problem, but it can respond to it and help reduce its impact. Its essential role is to create an environment that is dignified, safe, and stable. I believe that the environment in which a person lives has a direct influence on their self-perception and their relationship with society.
