Between a family home and an apartment building; between privacy and sharing; between a riding hall and stables; a convenience store and a children's group; between a market square and a quiet villa neighborhood.
The two-story, two-apartment twin buildings are connected by a shared gallery and face another matching pair across a courtyard. Together, these neighboring houses form a core neighborhood unit, sensitively nestled into the vacant spaces defined by the historic barracks.
The open, accessible, and adaptable CLT structure encourages care for one’s own space, while the arrangement of the four neighboring houses fosters care for the community.
