Visiting Studio – Emerging Architects
We are detectives! We observe and analyze what already exists in a place, layering the new over the old.
We are fascinated by space – that seemingly “nothing” between elements, their relationships, organization, coexistence, or, on the contrary, separation.
We search for forms independent of the intended function, which is often subject to change.
We see architecture as a stage for unpredictable events that would not come into being without it. Or if they did, they would tell a completely different story.
In the end, the only certainty is this: when we design a column, no one will walk through it – everyone will walk around it.
