To all the chidren from the neighbouring gymnasium, to workers from nearby workshops and to people in suits meeting there during their lunch break. At midday, the space fills with the cheerful chatter of children mingling with conversations about the weather, sales or the latest political gossip. In the middle, on a large pillar supporting the entire structure, everyone can read the daily menu and then move forward in the queue. With the tray in hand, they can sit down and watch the surrounding park. The clinking of cutlery is gradually replaced by the sounds of singing birds and rustling trees. After lunch comes calm. A picnic in the park—beneath the canopy of trusses and the canopy of trees.
