Annotation
Berlin is a city of layers, traces and constant change composed of fragments in dialogue rather than a single narrative. Within this context, the Czech Embassy stands as a firmly anchored point an architecture whose legitimacy no longer needs proof. The building is not treated as an object to transform but to reinterpret; its value lies in its essence, structure, proportions, and memory The aim is to unlock existing potential, preserve as much of the original fabric as possible, and gently adapt it to new ways of use. While the exterior remains stable and legible, the interior evolves through careful refinement. Reduced operations free space for culture, meetings, and public life, materials are reused, and diplomacy enters into dialogue with the city. The house is not reborn; it continues.
