Annotation

The name Spojka reflects the core principle of the proposal – connecting the banks of the Vltava River, different elevation levels, and various forms of urban life. The project builds on the transformation of Holešovice and the development of the Bubny–Zátory area, the Vltava Philharmonic Hall, the new railway station, and the revitalization of the Holešovice Market Hall. Jateční Street is transformed from a transit route into an urban boulevard with a green tram line leading to the central square. The square serves both as a transport hub and a public space with panoramic river views. A new bridge for pedestrians, cyclists, and trams extends from it.
