Berlin Block

The main goal of our design is connection to the existing houses and complete the entire block, as it was before. The floor plan of the block from the southwestside is closed by an extended street with tree-line. On the other hand, on the northside, the floor plan is closed by U-Bahn track, which flows around the block at a height of 5 meters above the ground. The main idea - the reunion of the block - was added by commercial parterre, which is located around the entire perimeter of the block, and creates a kind of platform. Other objects grow on this platform, which first grow to the height of the existing houses and then graduate to the top in the western part. In the western part of the block we design offices, in the eastern part which is more quiet, we design the housing function.
