Berlin / Start up housing

Kreuzberg is a combination of distinctive cultures that coexist, mix and blend with each other. We worked with the plot located on the corner of the selected block. The emphasis on this important urban position was one of the main topics determining the form of the proposal. The main principle of the proposed start up housing is the division of premises into two categories - private and shared. The second category then represent generous shared spaces, which should enable the tenants to meet and deepen the social relationships. The connecting element of the whole project are outdoor platforms that are between private units and common space and their aim is to transfer the lives of their residents out.
