Art gallery Střed - Most

My goal was to create a building that will serve not only regular art enthusiasts but also occasional visitors to the park. This idea was taken into mind during the solution of disposition and visual division. The building is divided into two basic parts. Glazed, open ground floor which tries to be part of the park and also functions as an exposition with the possibility of attracting passers-by. The second part is a massive, externally closed floor that is at the level of treetops. The purpose of the closure is to eliminate external sensations and thus allow the visitor to concentrate on art exhibits. Uniform lighting with natural light is ensured by skylights.
