Housing estate Dubina, Ostrava

The housing estate Dubina in Ostrava was built in the 1980s and 1990s on the southern edge of the city. It is a development formed by superstructures. The housing estate is considered to be one of the most problematic in Ostrava in terms of functionality. The aim of the proposal is to find a solution that would make it easier to structure the territory and hierarchize its individual layers, which will allow the inhabitants of the area to better identify with the environment and achieve a higher standard of housing quality.
