Community living Prestice

The aim of this proposal is the rehabilitation of the area in the town of Přeštice. The design works with the original buildings of apartment houses and the Přeštice cultural building. The design aims not to destroy but to transform. The original buildings of apartment buildings are supplemented by another 2 masses, which complete the atrium around which all apartment buildings are concentrated. The original building is left in part, namely the north-eastern and south-western blocks, which are analogously guided by the same concept as apartment buildings. Apartment buildings are supplemented by 2kk, 3kk housing units and the former Přeštice cultural building is designed as a home for the elderly with a variety of rooms for self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient clients.
