COMMUNITY CENTRE AND LOKAL BAKOV

The complex of buildings in Bakov nad Jizerou consists of a community centre and a lokal pub with accommodation. The new buildings were built on the plot where the Jizera Shopping Centre originally stood. The aim of my design was to return the site to its original small-scale massing, to support the gathering of citizens, the labour market and tourism. The proposed community centre includes a multifunctional hall on the ground floor and a co-working space on the next floor. The new Ambiente - Lokal franchise will offer visitors a quality hospitality experience on the ground floor and accommodation on the first floor. The garden concept is designed as a place of peace, tranquillity and contemplation.
