HYENA ENCLOSURE

This project is based on study from summer semester. This project deals with a enclosure for hyenas at the zoo in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The enclosure was designed according to the concept of "three levels of hyena." The hyena is most often at the level of visitors, but it can descend into a ditch or climb a rocky overhang. Visitors have the opportunity to observe hyenas, for example, from the residential stairs (which allow a view of the ditch with a pond and waterfall), from the bay or behind the glass walls.
