Wood plane

The wood planel is a tool that has accompanied mankind since ancient times. It is one of the traditional carpentry and joinery tools. Usually it consists of a wooden body in which a knife is embedded. However, its appearance has varied across cultures. While America and Britain have been dominated by cast iron, for continental Europe it has always been wood. I have linked these two worlds in both material and form.
