The concept of the building is based on the history of the place and the atmosphere of the controversial fate of the Czech-German border area. It reflects the disturbed permanence and symbolizes the internal historical division.
The glass body of the building lets a vague image of the local landscape into the interior, a place of historical twists and turns, injustice, pain and hatred. The first impression is one of fragility. The fragility of interpersonal relationships, the inertia of separation and departure.
The metal structure fixed around the body represents the structure of the parties to the conflict, whether national or previously religious. It is not easy to determine which side has the upper hand over the other, but from some perspectives one seems to prevail over the other.
